The myth of moving on: A gathering to honor grieving at your own pace
Date: May 29th
TIme: 12-1:30pm PT/3-4:30pm ET
This spring, PAUSE is taking a moment to explore (and reject!) the myth of grief having a specific timeline that we all have to follow. We want to create a space of ritual, reflection, and resourcing - to honor and reflect on the 5-year anniversary of so many COVID-19-related deaths; almost 6 months from the LA fires; and whatever event in your life you’ve been grieving.
Please join us if: You’re grieving and looking for community to listen to, connect with, see your experience reflected in, and learn from; You’ve felt pressure to “be done grieving” “stop grieving” or “have moved on already”; You’re interested in learning more about resources that honor the fact that we all grieve at our own pace. We encourage folks of all races, backgrounds, cultures, and identities to attend! Learn more here.
